Micah Rastelli’s March 2011 Prayer Letter

Dear Praying Friends,

Thank you for your prayers and support. I have now been in Peru for four months. My Spanish is coming along slowly. I am now able to hold a conversation with people on a few topics and understand more when they speak.

Last week I was able to share the gospel with a man here named Fernando. It all started one day as I was walking out of Jeremy’s house the watchman asked me if I would be willing to help someone with their English. I said I would and he took me to the young man’s house. The following week I was able to spend an hour and a half talking with Fernando about the gospel. I spoke both in English and in Spanish as much as I could. We are supposed to be meeting again soon. Please pray with me that he will accept Christ as his Saviour

At Omega we are focusing on missions for this month. Every Sunday night we will be having a different missionary in to preach. It has been wonderful so far we have the whole church decorated with flags and banners. We also are raising money for El Faro, Juan Pacheco’s church; they are in the process of building a new church building. Our goal is to raise the rest of the needed money for the building project which is about $15,000. If you would like to give you can send money to:

Prayer Requests:

  • For God to bless Omega Baptist Church
  • That the Lord will bless this month of missions
  • For Our Generation Camp this year

In Christ,
