What’s a blog?
A blog is a personal diary. A daily pulpit. A collaborative space. A political soapbox. A breaking-news outlet. A collection of links. Your own private thoughts. Memos to the world.
Your blog is whatever you want it to be. There are millions of them, in all shapes and sizes, and there are no real rules.
“Vision News†is a great way to see what is going on in the life or our church. Pastor Austin is the editor and he writes articles, receives articles from his staff, and posts articles that he reads that he believes we will benefit from reading.
How do I use the blog?
There are different ways that you can daily read our blog.
#1 From the Website
Everyday you can go to www.visionbaptist.com click on the icon that says blog. You will be directed to the website that contains our blog. This method may seem the easiest but it is not necessarily the one that is most time effective.
#2 Email Subscription
You can subscribe to our blog email feed. By subscribing for the feed you will receive an email daily or as often as the blog is updated with the new information.

#3 From a Blog Reader
You can download a “blog reader.” With a reader, keeping up with your favorite website is as easy. Readers constantly checks your favorite news sites and blogs for new.

This is a great reader if you use Internet Explorer.

This is a great blog reader if you use Fire Fox.

If you will look to your right you will see on the sidebar an item called “search”. If you have ever looked for an article on your Adult Bible Fellowship Class or on some topic you have heard people buzzing about at church – this is the place to look.
Links
Many of the ministries of our church have blogs and websites. Here you will find a list of them and by clicking on the name of interest you will be redirected to their site.
Categories
Our Pastor and the other writers write on many different subjects. If you are looking for past articles on a specific subject this will be a great tool.
