Location and TimesKevin White, missionary to Bolivia, has been greatly used of God in spreading the gospel in that country.
Currently back in the USA on furlough, Kevin served a term from 2006-2010 in Cochabamba, Bolivia, where he started Iglesia Bautista Vision. Starting with nothing, Kevin and his family worked, and built a church where there is now a Bible institute, which trains 9 to 12 men for full time ministry. Those men are already serving and leading in different ministries in the church!
The White family is a great example of a family wholly given to serving the Lord, and getting His gospel to all nations, starting in Bolivia.
But they’re not quite a “normal” family. Why would such a seemingly normal, picture perfect family, fully fit to live the “American Dream” leave the comfort and the security of the USA, and move to a foreign land, where they didn’t speak the language, didn’t understand the culture, and didn’t have any friends or family? Why would a loving family do that?
Well, for starters, because they understand that it’s their responsibility. While it would be very easy for the Whites to stay stateside, they know that God has issued the edict to go into all the world, preaching the gospel.
And so, Kevin leads his family as they spread the gospel to all the world, Starting in Bolivia. And while it may seem like a horrible sacrifice, rest assured that the Whites thoroughly enjoyed their term on the field, and are looking forward to getting back, and preaching Christ’s gospel.
