Who we are
Vision Baptist Church is a local church at 355 Windy Hill Drive, Alpharetta, GA 30004. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us, fill out one of our forms, or respond to one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, and how we use it.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us. Depending on the form, that may include:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- A prayer request or message you write to us
- Basic family details, such as the ages of your children, so we can tell you about classes for them
When you fill out a form inside a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta may fill in your name, email, and phone number from your profile. You can edit or remove that information before you submit.
How we use it
- To pray for you and follow up on your prayer request
- To answer your questions and help you plan a visit
- To tell you about classes, groups, and events that fit you and your family
- To keep a record of people who have connected with our church
Our pastors and a small number of trusted church staff and volunteers read prayer requests. We treat them with care and keep them private.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share it only with services that help us run the church, and only so they can do that work for us:
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), when you submit a form through one of our ads. Meta’s use of your information is covered by the Meta Privacy Policy.
- Planning Center, the church management software we use to keep contact records and follow up with people.
- Automation and email tools we use to move form responses into Planning Center and to send you messages.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Children
Our forms and ads are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If a parent or guardian shares their children’s ages with us, we use that only to help the family find the right classes.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as you stay connected with our church, or until you ask us to remove it.
Your choices
- You can ask us what information we have about you.
- You can ask us to correct it or delete it.
- You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we will.

Keeping it safe
We store your information in password-protected systems and limit access to the people who need it to serve you. No system is perfect, but we work to protect what you share with us.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
