Bridge Builders

Time: Sunday Mornings at 9:30

Teacher: Ty Pepperdine

The Bridge Builders purpose is to glorify God with our lives and all that He has made us to be.  We are a group of career and professional people at Vision Baptist Church that desire to grow in our hearing and our doing of the Bible.   We believe that through our profession we can give witness to what Jesus Christ has done in our lives and we can make disciples for Him

Mark 12:29 – 31 ” And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

God is glorified when:

  • His name is exalted and He is admired.  (Philippians 2:10, II Thessalonians 1:10-12)
  • His children trust Him and keep His commandments.  (John 14:15, John 15:10)
  • His Mission is accomplished.  (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:46-48, John 20:21, Acts 1:8)

Here is a chart that shows the mission of our class:
