Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,
What an incredible month this one has been! We have had some good times, some bad times and some ugly times. Please continue to pray for us that God will use us in amazing ways here in Peru and that we might send the men around the world that can impact and reach lost souls. We thank God that he has allowed us to be a part of training men through the Bible College. God has been so good in sending men out, around the world to preach the gospel. Having a part in their training is a blessing beyond your wildest dreams. We thank God that we were just able to start another semester of Bible College. We have 8 or 9 freshmen starting their studies. We are excited about being able to train these men. This year I am teaching a church planting class. We have 15 students that are taking the class. It is exciting to see them get excited about the chance to start churches as they graduate from college.
Also this month we had the privilege of participating in an ordination service for Renzo Zuñiga. He is in the middle of raising his support to try and make it to North Africa. It is neat seeing the guys grow and prepare for ministries around the world. God has also allowed us this month to have the David Velke family, the Chris Waye family and Mariangela Simeon come to Peru to do their internship and learn about missions. We love training people for the field, on the field. It is exciting to see how God is moving and growing these men that will without a doubt be used wherever God calls them.
On March 21st we had the privilege of launching Omega Baptist Church. During the launch service we had 166 people attend and had a great service. We are excited about all that God is doing in the church and how he is growing the church. We are now averaging right at 100 people on Sunday mornings and are looking into the possibility of starting multiple services because we do not have a big enough building for the people that are arriving. God is so good!
One of the craziest things that happened this month is that I was out trying to play soccer with the young people and fell and broke my foot. Not fun at all and the doctor says that it will take at least 6 weeks to get out of the cast.
Another crazy thing that has happened is that we were called by our landlord and told we had to move because he is renting the house out. We have lived in the same house for over 9 years now and had no idea how great our rent payment is. We have been paying $400 a month.  As we go out and look for houses it seems that we will be paying at least double that. Pray that the Lord provides the funds especially for the first months rent. We will have to pay 3 months all at once; two for the guarantee and then a month up front. Pray that we will get the necessary funds to move. We have decided to try and buy a piece of property for ourselves as soon as we can because rent like that is insane. Please keep us in your prayers.
A great thing that has happened is that this month God allowed me to get a new insulin pump. This is a blessing that is amazing. I will be trained over the internet on how to use it.
