Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,
Jesus told us in Matthew 16:18 that He would build His church and the gates of Hell would not prevail against it. We have see the Lord build His church numerically and spiritually over the last several weeks.
Though we had a few families leave our churches recently for various reasons, the Lord has blessed the folks that have stayed and given us a great spirit in the churches. The people are getting more and more involved in evangelism. We just had a bunch of new tracts printed, and everyone has been pitching in to get them out and to witness to new people.
On Sunday, May 30, we had a Baptism Service in the ocean with one lady named Caroline Doherty following the Lord in believer’s baptism and joining Roe Valley Baptist Church. Caroline came to the church six months ago at the invitation of a friend. That night, she prayed and asked God to save her. She has slowly been growing in her walk with God. What a blessing it was to see this lady take this step of obedience to Christ. Also, seven of her friends came to see her get baptised!
We had several groups of visitors over the course of about three weeks. Pastor and Mrs. Wayne Cofield came over and preached our Family Conference. This was a great blessing to our people. Pastor Cofield also preached our two year anniversary service on May 23 for Northwest Baptist Church. You can watch a video of what God has done in our church on our church website at www.northwestbc.com. We were also blessed to have Stephen and April Baker visit with us, as well as a group of ten students from Maranatha Baptist Bible College and the Scott Seigman family from Defiance, Ohio. If you are interested in coming on a mission trip or doing an internship with us, let us know at snode@intoalltheworld.net.
The group from Maranatha was a big help with some work on our buildings and our youth revival. We are so excited about how God is raising up some young people who have a desire to serve God.
Please continue to pray for the following requests: 1) $2000 that is still needed for our printer, 2) $1000/month new support that is needed for the ministry, 3) Sam Quinn’s visa to get approved to come over and help us, 4) God to bless the two camps and Vacation Bible schools that we will have summer, and 5) the following people that we are witnessing to right now: Jay, Jim, and Nuala.
Thank you for your faithful prayers and support. We are so blessed to have such a great team behind us. To stay more up-to-date with our ministry, go to www.travissnode.com to follow our blog and ministry calendar.
God bless,
Travis & Teri Snode
