We would like to encourage all “Badger Dads” to join us for a monthly prayer meeting. We will meet on the second Tuesday of each month from 7:30 – 8:00 am. Vision Baptist Church of Alpharetta is excited to host this monthly event. Vision is only a 5 minute drive from Brandywine Elementary School. Coffee will be waiting for you!
This prayer meeting is not a sanctioned program of Brandywine Elementary. However, the focus of our time of prayer will be for the students, teachers, and school administration. We will be reaching out to teachers and staff on a monthly basis to see if they have any prayer requests they would like to share with us. We will also be praying for the dads who attend the meeting as well as their kids by name, with their expressed permission.
As dads we have many responsibilities in regards to our kids. We even have opportunities to serve at the school through the Watch Dog DADS program. We must recognize that even thought we can do more than pray we must certainly recognize the importance of prayer.
“True prayer is neither a mere mental exercise nor a vocal performance. It is far deeper than that – it is spiritual transaction with the Creator of Heaven and Earth.” – Charles Spurgeon
This prayer meeting will be led by one of our associate pastors, Trent Cornwell. Trent has two of his children at Brandywine and one that will that will be there soon. He will be joined by other men in the church who have students at the school. If you have any questions about this event please let him know by emailing Trent@visionbaptist. com
