We had another great service here at Vision Baptist Church!
Sunday morning was a special time as we looked in the book of Job chapter 31 and saw how he prepared beforehand to be able to maintain his integrity through his hard times. The church was able to give a special offering of $5,000 for Brother Randy Stirewalt, who is a missionary to Kenya. He has spent over forty years of his life there and is now battling cancer. He has recently had a scan, and his head and chest are clear of cancer, which is excellent news. Please pray for him as he continues to go through his chemo treatments. We are excited to see how God is going to work in Brother Randy Stirewalt’s life.
Sunday evening, we had a wonderful surprise and had Keith Shumaker drop in one more time before he left to go back to Burkina Faso. Jim Roberts preached, and so did Keith Shumaker. They both preached wonderful messages, and it was a great night, and God did a work in our lives. We gave a special offering to Keith Shumaker as he returns to Kenya and gets set up on the mission field.
