I Corinthians 12:20 But now are they many members, yet but one body. 21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
God didn’t give us all with the same gifts. He intentionally made us different. We are not to compare ourselves with each other. We are not to see one as more important than the other. Our differences show our need for each other.
What happens to one of us happens to all of us. We are all parts of the same body. We all have different ministries or services that we give to God, but all are important.
God put us together. There is nothing to indicate that it was accidental or by chance. When we do not accept where God placed us in His body and service, then we are insulting God, His will, and His wisdom.
None are to be considered dispensable. None of us can do it all alone. If we, for some reason, do not believe we need another in the body, then we deny Scripture. There is not to be a spirit of competition among us, nor a clamoring for attention.
