Joshua 5:14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
It is interesting that so far, we have not found any music associated with the worship of God. We have discovered sacrifice, recognizing Him and His power, and humbling ourselves before Him.
Here in Joshua, we find Joshua falling on his face before God. He humbles himself and expresses his desire to obey whatever God wants him to do.
Worship is seeing God for who He is and recognizing who we are before Him. We have no right or position before Him.
