I Samuel 28:6 And when Saul inquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.
Saul has sinned against God. God has finished using Saul in the ministry. Saul has been placed on a shelf, out of the ministry. He has lost all his part in God’s work now.
Saul prays and gets no answer. No matter how many ways he tries to get God to speak, nothing works.
This has to be a horrible experience. Sometimes I have felt as though the heavens were brass, and none of my prayers got through. I know what it is like to feel as though God will not listen, will not answer. I hated it
We want to keep the relationship open. We do not want to shut the windows of heaven against our prayers. We need God. We need Him to hear and answer. How is your prayer life? Are you hearing from God?
