Mark 15:15 And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.
Pilate is practicing political correctness even before it is a term. He will please the people, content them, in spite of his convictions. He will release Barabbas, the criminal instead of Jesus. He will have Jesus beaten and then crucified even though he knew he shouldn’t.
How often do we do the wrong thing to go along and get ahead. Isn’t it time to stand on truth regardless of the consequences. Time to do right in spite of what others might think or say.
Are you following the crowd or the cross? Are you doing right or doing wrong against your conscience. Time to honor and obey God instead of making people happy.
