Leviticus 10:10 And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;

God wanted His people to be able to distinguish between what was right and what was wrong. Would they know the difference between clean and unclean? Some things would be holy and right, and some would be unholy and wrong.

He placed all sorts of rules, guidelines in their lives. He wanted them to do right. He wanted them to know His will.

Do you hunger for holiness? Do you desire to please God?

Something happens when we use grace as an excuse. We begin to act like God is here for our pleasure. We want Him to do what is best for us. We change the focus from Him to us. We think more in terms of pleasing us than pleasing Him.

I want this verse to remind us to please God. We are called to be holy. Our Father is holy. Do not use His goodness and grace as an excuse for selfishness and living an unholy life.
