Exodus 34:10 And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
God picked the nation of Israel to be His special, chosen, elect, people. He gave them His word, covenant, that He would do great things. God’s plans for this nation of people are unlike any with any other people. Those who live in the vicinity of Israel would see what God would do. What God planned to do was terrible, awesome. It was to be God doing the work.
God made big and audacious plans with and for Israel. He promised and wrote it down. You can mark it down that He will accomplish all that He has planned. Israel is still on the map. God is still going to do things.
We do have to like it or agree but that doesn’t change the truth. Do not try to replace Israel with the church. Accept that God meant what He said and will do it.
