Everlasting fire

Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

What horrific words we find in this verse. Depart from me. Separated from God, the king, these people will find themselves alone. Not only will they be cast out, departing, but they will also be cursed. Instead of a blessing, they are under a curse. Not only are they cursed and cast out but they will be cast into everlasting fire.

Everlasting is defined in the composite word we see there. A fire that is ever lasting. God never even meant for that fire to be for people. It was prepared for the devil, the adversary, and his angels, the demons.

I do not want you ever to experience these horrible words. It is time to humble yourself before the king of the everlasting. It is time to acknowledge your need of being rescued. You can’t change yourself. You can get freedom from your guilt and your sin on your own. Jesus died to give you life. He took the punishment meant for you. Will you trust Him today as your Savior.
