Marvelling at His compassion

Matthew 15:32 Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

Jesus hurts for hurting people. Can you see that? The disciples weren’t hurting for them. They seemed to feel nothing. Jesus saw them and wanted to help them. His love saw a physical need and stood ready to get involved.

Jesus knew that the majority of the people had not eaten in three days. He knew that they were out of food. Jesus wouldn’t just send them away. He didn’t want them to faint on the way home.

Can you see His love? Can you feel His heart? He loves you. He knows you need forgiveness of your sins. He has made provision. He is not a harsh person that sends you away without the help you need. If you come to Him, He will in no wise cast you out.
