Psalm 118:29 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: For his mercy endureth for ever.
God is good. He is merciful. He shows His mercy forever. We should give thanks for Him and to Him.
The picture all too many have of God is a vindictive God. They think that God is eager to judge them. They believe that God is angry. Here the psalmist says that God is good. That God is merciful all the time and forever.
You would find this truth express many times in Scripture. Do you live in this truth? Are you thankful?
Not just thankful for all you have but for Him. Grateful that you know a God that is so good and merciful. Grateful that the God of the Bible is who He is and how He is.
