Psalm 56:4 In God I will praise his word, In God I have put my trust; I will not fear What flesh can do unto me.
The statement is made here in this verse that he will not fear what flesh, people, can do to him. How can you get to the point that you do not have to live in fear? I think it can be seen in this verse.
We love the Word of God. We praise the Word of God. We live thinking about and obeying God. We learn to know God from His Word. We learn the truth. Truth and love will defeat fear.
We trust God. When you trust God, you do not have to fear. When you start being afraid or anxious, then you are are not trusting. So I must believe God. I must believe what He says to me. I must believe in God and His Word.
So we can overcome fear. We are overcomers through Christ who loved us. Have you trusted Him as your Lord and Savior? Do you believe Him? You can know the peace of God today if you will but trust Him.
