Met their needs in the wilderness

March 24, 2019 By Austin Gardner Leave a Comment

Nehemiah 9:21  Yea, forty years didst thou sustain them in the wilderness, so that they lacked nothing; their clothes waxed not old, and their feet swelled not.

They had rebelled against God. They had done everything possible to anger God. What does God do in response? God is good to His people. For forty years He sustained them, He met their needs in the wilderness. They lacked nothing. Their clothes and shoes were taken care of. He protected even their feet. God was good to a rebellious people.

Do you understand grace? I can’t comprehend how good God is. He is so good. He is so grace-filled and merciful.

Now when you look in the mirror and consider your failures you get discouraged. But if you will listen to the God of the Bible, you will find this verse. You will see that God is good to His people even when they do not deserve it. Love the One who loves you so!
