Nehemiah 4:23 So neither I, nor my brethren, nor my servants, nor the men of the guard which followed me, none of us put off our clothes, saving that every one put them off for washing.
Have you ever been super busy in the work of the Lord? They were so busy that they literally worked and dropped into bed. They didn’t even get to dress for bed. They mainly lived in their clothes except for the time it took to wash them and get them clean to wear again.
I fear one of the pitfalls for modern young people is the lack of work they do. They are not busy. They have too much time for games, relaxation, and play. They have no purpose. They are not busy doing something that matters, that counts.
We need to find something that can fill our days and send us to bed tired at night. We need to be useful to the Lord and His work. When we are idle the devil has the opportunity to tempt us. He feels our minds with us. We do what pleasures or pleases us. We become self or inward focused.
Time to get a job. TTime to find something to do. Time to get busy. Time to live life like it was meant to be lived.
