Nehemiah 4:7 But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth, 8 And conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to hinder it.
Satan and his hordes hated to see the work of God going forward. They began to conspire together to see what they could do to stop or hinder the work of God. They are ready to fight. So wicked leaders get together. They make plans.
You need to know that based on the New Testament you do not fight against people. Your problem is never another human being. The fight is spiritual. The fight is against Satan and his demon army. Therefore you will fight but not against those you love or even those that hate you. You will not blame others because you know the truth. Truth says that it is Satan who fights against you. You know that your fight is not from this world. You are to wear armor, and it is spiritual armor. You are to use a sword, but it is a spiritual sword.
Do you ever feel like everything and everyone is against you? If you are saved, then you need to know that it is not really the people but Satan. Satan wants to steal, kill, and destroy. You stand for God and then lift your shield of faith to stand against the wiles of the devil.
