Isaiah 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, And come to Zion with songs And everlasting joy upon their heads: They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
God promised He would bring His people back to their land, Zion. They were His. He had rescued them from sin. He purchased them by His mercy and grace. He was now taking them home to their land. They would be filled with joy and gladness. Sorrow would flee away. Not only did this speak of the temporary possession of their land but a foreshadowing of our salvation.
If you get saved, born again. If you know your sins are forgiven and you have been given new life, then you will know everlasting joy also. You will get His joy and gladness. You will find life and have life more abundantly than you could ever have imagined.
Will you trust Jesus today? Will you come to Him to be saved. Learn all God says about the work of His grace in the lives of all believers.
