Isaiah 21:4 My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: The night of my pleasure hath he turned into fear unto me.
What seems like the night of pleasure ends up being horrible. Sin costs. Sin costs terribly. In the middle of the pleasures of sin, there is the fear of being found out. There is the fear that it is all about to explode. The heart is beating wildly but not from the pleasure but the fear. It is God that turned the night of fun into fear.
Do not let the Devil or the world make you think that sin is worth it. It hurts. It hurts you, and it hurts all those around you. It is never worth it.
God wants you to live an abundant life. He wants you to enjoy His goodness. The devil has come to steal, to kill, and destroy. Open your eyes and realize this terrible truth.
