Nehemiah 4:2 And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
The enemies of God’s people are mocking them. They say they are feeble. They do not believe they will be able to get the strength needed to accomplish their goals. The situation is too bad for God’s people.
What the enemy doesn’t realize is that it will not be determined by their weakness but by God’s strength. God will take these weak Jews who are in desperate straits, and He will do a great work.
You need to know that when a believer is weak but believing then He, God, is strong. That means that when we are feeble our God comes through and we are strong.
