Luke 3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
In one verse we have all three distinct persons of the Godhead. The Holy Ghost is descending. Jesus has just been baptized. God speaks from heaven.
This is super hard for us to understand. God is One. God is three persons. He is One yet three. God the Father is not Jesus. Jesus is not the Holy Spirit, and neither is the Holy Spirit God the Father. However, all three are One God.
God is far above any of us. We know that the Bible teaches both truths, so we accept and embrace them.
Aren’t you glad God is bigger than you can understand? If you could understand God, you would be His equal. We accept by faith much that we cannot understand.
