Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; And what doth the LORD require of thee, But to do justly, and to love mercy, And to walk humbly with thy God?
Micah was speaking to a religious people that totally misunderstood what God was doing with them and what He wanted. God was not looking for some kind of stilted worship. He was looking for a faith that would carry out in real life. If you genuinely love God and believe Him, then it affects your everyday life.
He wanted you to live out what He had done in your life. If you love God, you should do right. If you love God, you should be a merciful person. If you love God, you should humbly believe and serve God.
Salvation isn’t something you do but something you have. It isn’t about your doing but His doing. He saved you. He gave you a new life. You merely live out the reality of what He did in you.
Does your salvation show in your life. Do people see you and realize that something happened to you.
