Daniel 4:27 Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
God sent the wicked king a dream. In the dream, God made it clear that no one could take His glory. He made it clear that this evil king would lose everything that he had. Instead of realizing he had sinned the king persisted in rebellion. Daniel asks him to accept his counsel. If he would just turn from his sin, then things would be better.
The king refuses to submit. He will soon be like an animal losing his mind. He will be humbled, and when he realizes who God is, then he can be restored to his kingdom.
Why do you persist in rebellion? Why do you not see your error and turn to the Lord? Why be so arrogant as to think that God will not judge your rebellion.
Today you still have time. Turn from your sin to the Lord. Do right and honor God. Today you still have time. If you wait much longer, it may be too late.
