Wait to see the end

Job 42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

When we go through the book of Job, it is hard to read. He suffers so much. His supposed friends seek only to sink him into despair. He doesn’t understand what is happening to him.

But then you come to the end of the story and see that God blesses him greatly. You remember the beginning and know that God was seeking glory from a great testimony during trials. God was at work in what seemed to be horrible conditions and mistreatment.

Are you willing to trust that God is at work in your life? Are you willing to wait until the end to see what God is doing? Job’s finish was glorious. God blessed greatly. Could it be that you have a glorious finish coming?
