Corrupt people

II Chronicles 27:2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah did: howbeit he entered not into the temple of the LORD. And the people did yet corruptly.

We finally have a king that is doing right. He will honor God. He will choose to do what he should do. He will follow the right example of his dad. He even picked the right things from his dad and left off the bad. No matter how he lived, the people continued to do wrong. They were corrupt. They chose their sin.

It is my responsibility to do right and try to lead others to do the same. It is the other people’s responsibility to decide to do right for themselves. Everything can’t always be blamed on leadership. You can’t blame your wrong on someone else.

We need to each decide that we will do right. We will serve and honor God.
