Horrible memory

I Chronicles 2:7 And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.

Achar, Achan, is remembered all these years later. What a terrible way to be remembered. He was the troubler of his people. His sin wasn’t forgotten by the people. He had taken from what God told him not to take.

How will you be remembered? Will you be remembered as one who challenged others to live for God? Will you be recognized for your excellent testimony or a bad one?

We are deciding now how we will be remembered. We determine what our friends and loved ones will think. I want to live so that when I am dead and not forgotten, they will at least believe that my life counted for something.
