II Samuel 22:50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, And I will sing praises unto thy name.
We are to give thanks to the Lord. He is our Lord and Savior. He is everything to us. We should praise His name. I think we all realize that and believe it.
The part of the verse that I want to call your attention to is the world evangelism note. It says, “among the heathen!” We are to praise God among unbelievers. We often go mute there. We do not talk about Jesus around those who do not believe. We keep our worship private.
If He is all that we claim that He is, then we need to be unashamed in front of those that do not believe. Talk about Jesus. Share Jesus. Sing His praises. Do not be afraid of their looks, their words or what they think. Jesus is worthy.
