Don’t you care, Lord?

Mark 4:38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

The disciples wanted to know if Jesus was concerned for their lives, their safety. The truth is that Jesus was at that very moment training them how to serve Him best. He was teaching them to trust Him. They thought He didn’t know what was going on with them but He did.

How many times is God at work in our lives and we do not realize it? We think He doesn’t care when He is doing what is best for us. He is training and teaching us. He is maturing us. It is time just to trust that He loves us and is doing what is best for us at the moment.
