Acts 26:26 For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.
Paul had not done his ministry in a corner. He had not been a secret agent, 007 spy, preacher. Paul had unashamedly been teaching and preaching everywhere. He was now on trial. Paul said that he could speak freely, no codes, nothing hidden because that was how he had done his ministry. He knew the authorities knew who he was and what he was doing.
I think that we can think about this in light of our ministries. We can consider that people do know what we are doing. We need to be careful to do the right thing so that if we are ever questioned, we can answer boldly. We have nothing to be ashamed of. Let’s tell the world about Jesus.
