Who will you trust?

Micah 7:5 Trust ye not in a friend, Put ye not confidence in a guide: Keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. 6 For the son dishonoureth the father, The daughter riseth up against her mother, The daughter in law against her mother in law; A man’s enemies are the men of his own house. 7 Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: My God will hear me.

Micah the prophet warns us about trusting the wrong person. Anyone can turn on you and hurt you, from your children to your spouse, to your best friend. Those that you would never suspect may end up hurting you.

The pastor or other men of God that you look to are at best men. They are not to be trusted. You are not to put your trust in them or put them on a pedestal.

There is only One that you can trust, and that is the Lord God of Creation. The God of Salvation, the God of it all can be trusted. He will hear your prayer. He will always keep His Word. He will not fail. So look to God through Jesus Christ, the only way to God. Believe God. Trust God and His Word. There is no one else that can be trusted like Him.
