Location and Times
Isaiah 30:9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, Children that will not hear the law of the LORD:
God said the people were rebellious. They did whatever they could not to hear the truth. They told the preachers not to preach. They ask for nice, smooth, messages. They preferred to hear a lie than the truth.
Not much has changed since then. God’s people even to day do not want to hear the truth. They choose churches that tell stories and read and study little to no Bible. The most popular preachers use the Bible as a prop or a jumping off place.
I hope we always hunger to hear the Word of God as His children!
