Job 42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Job had been in captivity. He had been suffering at the hands of Satan in a contest of wills between God and the devil. Job had lost most everything he had. After losing everything Job had terrific friends that spend the entire book of Job not being such good friends. They criticize Job. They try to show Job what he has done wrong. Job doesn’t believe that he has done wrong.
Now the test is over, and God tells Job to pray for his friends. This had to be super hard. These men had ridiculed Job. Job prays, and God frees Job from captivity. Job then gets twice as much as he had before. God abundantly blessed Job.
You must know that you are going through testings. God is with you and will not leave you. He will bless you in the end so keep trusting Him. You will eventually see how God worked even in this apparent disaster.
