Job 17:15 And where is now my hope? As for my hope, who shall see it?
Job is suffering horribly from all that is going wrong in his life. His children are dead. His financial losses are astronomical. His friends are tormenting him about how it is all his fault. He feels like there is no way forward, no way out, he feels doomed to suffer.
The truth is that there is hope even in the darkest moment. His life is upside down for sure. He can’t see the way forward but God can. God is working in Job’s life even in these dark moments. It will soon be alright.
I need to know that I have my hope in the Lord Jesus and what He is doing in my life. I know that nothing happens that He is not allowing. I can trust that even in this He will bring me out and give me victory. Our hope is in the Lord Jesus.
Never forget that hope. Never forget how He loves you and has not abandoned you. You can know that He will work all this out for His glory and your good.
