Ephesians 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
The church is a body, an assembly, a congregation. We get together to work and serve. This isn’t happening out there somewhere in the wild, blue yonder, that we never see or experience. Rather we are together. We need each other.
Every joint, every person, every member has something that it brings to the local body, the church or assembly of believers. Each one works doing what God designed that person to do. This means that each has a part to do that they can do better than anyone else. As every part works, does what it was designed to do, then the body increases or grows. There is love expressed and love felt. The whole body is working together in the will of God.
Do not take your assembly, your church, lightly. You are an integral part. You are needed. God is using you!
