Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
This passage of Scripture is so powerful! Satan wanted to hurt Peter. He had gotten permission from God. Just like Peter you can rest assured that your troubles are God filtered and God approved.
Satan wanted to hurt Peter but God would allow this testing and trouble to change Peter. What Satan wanted to use to destroy would actually be what God used to strengthen Peter and prepare him for more ministry.
Peter would not be alone in this testing. Jesus was praying for him. Jesus prayed for him and made it pretty clear that Peter would come out victorious on the other side.
After Peter gets through this testing he will be used of God to strengthen others. So no trial or testing is wasted. The trouble that comes our way is for us to grow and be used of God in further ministry.
He never leaves you. He never abandons you. When you are hurting He is praying for you. When you pass the test you will have more and better ministry!
