Zechariah 3:4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
This is a beautiful picture of what God has done for us. He took away our filthy garments and give us pure clothing. He took our sin and gave us His righteousness. Today we stand before Him as new creatures. Old things are passed away and all things are made new.
II Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
God has caused His iniquity to pass from him. He has taken His failure and replaced that with the righteousness and holiness of God. Rejoice in the goodness of God and what He is doing and had done.
