This Sunday was a very exciting and special one here at Vision Baptist Church. It was Levi’s Luau; a time for us to invite all of our friends and neighbors to hear a clear presentation of the Gospel and to enjoy to food and getting to know us a little better. We had 242 in Sunday School and 317 in the main service. God is so good! After our time of fellowship we had an afternoon service.
During the morning service we were also thrilled to have Jon and Amber Canavan join our church! We are so excited to have this couple join us! Please be sure to welcome them to Vision. Also we had an exciting announcement from Jason King. After months of issues trying to get his families visas to South Africa and much prayer, God has called him and his family to Argentina!!! They leave in less than 30 days! Please be in prayer for this family as they learn the language and start reaching people with the Gospel!
After all the excitement of Levi’s Luau the day was still not over. Jeff Brown and the Desi Bible Fellowship hosted an Indian Independence Day gathering for the local Indian population. They prayed and prepared for 50 people, and as God always does, He went over and beyond that! There were 122 Indian people in attendance!!! 31 of the 42 families that attended had never been inside a church and everyone got to hear a presentation of the Gospel. We are so excited for what God is doing with this group and look forward to watching the Indian population in Alpharetta, and around the world reached for Christ.
