II Corinthians 12:15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.
Paul loved the Lord and the people God had called him to serve. They often didn’t appreciate him but he didn’t care. He loved them anyway. He was ready to give and spend. He was willing not only to spend money but life. He would love and give even if they didn’t love him back.
What a way for us to minister and serve. Let’s be excited about getting the gospel out. Lets train men and women for the ministry. There will be people that do not love you, that turn against you, but we are doing this for Jesus and we are ready to spend and be spent no matter how we are treated.
