Amos 1:1 THE words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.God is about to use Amos to take His message to His people. Amazingly Amos is only a herdman, a shepherd. God spoke to him. God gave him a message. God used him. To me this is a clear indication that God will use you and me. He will take ordinary people like us and allow us to be part of His work. I want to be ready to hear His voice. I want to be in the Scriptures learning what He says so that I can be used of Him when and where He chooses. I challenge you to not think that you are in a place where He will not use you. If He can call a shepherd to carry His message He can call you. He knows where you live and what you are doing.
