Job 10:18 Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!
Job and his “friends” are talking. He expresses a desire to die. He can’t take it. Everything has fallen apart. His children have died. His wife is super discouraged. He is sick. His friends are tormenting him. All Job can think is how much better it would have been if he had never been born.
I think lots of us can think this when we are very discouraged. We can think of all of our troubles and wish to run but that is not God’s will. He is at work in Job’s life.
When you consider giving up and wishing you were dead realize that God has a plan for your life. Realize that God is at work. You can trust Him and His ministry in your life.
Just keep on keeping on till God brings you out on the other side. Focus your heart and mind on what the Scriptures say. Do not allow Satan to win the victory in your life!
