Happy Easter! I am excited that we get to celebrate the day our saviour rose from the dead and freed us from the curse of sin and death. In fact, Pastor Gardner preached out of Galatians for on the freedom that the cross brings. How we were under the law, it condemned us, it punished us, and on the cross Jesus took that condemnation and set us free from that punishment, and now we can live in the light of freedom rather than the bondage of the law. Our attendance was 289, a new record for the church. It is awesome to see how God is growing the church and how he continues to work.
David Gates gave in update from Egypt and his family in the evening service. We were able to pray for his son and his daughter as they are going through some very difficult medical troubles. Please be in prayer for this family, please pray that they will find comfort and deliverance from this struggle, and please continue to pray for the ministry in Egypt. John Deluz was given the opportunity to do the Lord’s Supper. He did a phenomenal job, the sermon he preached was very challenging, it is always important to be in remembrance of what our saviour did for us. Thank you for taking time to read! Have a good week, I hope to see you Sunday.
