We had 244 in attendance this Sunday morning. Pastor Gardner preached from Galatians 3:1, on the Galatians being deceived by false doctrines.
The vow renewal service was held in the evening service. The married couples of the church stood in front of the church and restated their vows to their spouses in English and Spanish, as we were privileged to have our Spanish church with us in the main service. It is a great opportunity to have these wonderful couples as examples for the young people to fashion their marriages. After the vow renewal, Pastor Gardner preached from Hosea on God’s love for His people. A wonderful truth that need be constantly considered, for we often tend to forget it. We were challenged and encouraged to show the same love that God shows to His people. God truly has been good to us, let us consider and think on God’s love as we go throughout our week. If anything comes up this week that upsets us (and it will) let us remember how our God loves us, and rejoice in Him. Please be in prayer for the Cherry family as their son, Jacob, is joining the air force. The deacons were able to pray over him and his father before he left. We are proud to see him take this step, and are excited to see what God will do in his life. Thank you for reading, I hope to see you next week.
