God Buries His Workers But Never His Work – Daily Devotional – November 26th, 2015

November 26, 2015 By Austin Gardner Leave a Comment

Numbers 20:28 And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.

It is a good lesson not to lock on to any man. All die. All fail. None can meet your needs. None can satisfy. None are perfect.

It is God that is important. It is God that does His work. We are used of Him. We are His tools. We are the hammer but not the hand that uses the hammer. It is important to not focus on men but on Him.

Aaron had failed. Now Aaron was dying but the work of God was to continue on. That is how God does things.

I should never get caught up in ideas of my own importance. I should believe God and serve Him knowing that He will use me till He is through with me. His work will not fail because of me.

I also should realize that I am leaving this earth and so need to work at training others to carry own the work God wants me doing.

Men of God, disciple, train, and mentor. That is our way of making a difference in the next generation.
