Consequences For Sin But Still Loved – Daily Devotional – November 13th, 2015

November 13, 2015 By Austin Gardner Leave a Comment

Leviticus 26:44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
God has brought His people out of Egypt and bondage. He has set them free and given them great promises. However, He makes it clear that their freedom is not a license to sin. If they sin and run into doing things that are wrong there will be consequences. Horrible things will happen to them and their children if they turn away from God and serving Him. The list is horrible. But notice He will allow them to suffer the consequences of their sin but He will not thrown them away. He will not hate them. He will not totally destroy them. And greatest of all He will not break His promise to them. He loves them unconditionally. Now consider the promises of grace from the Lord Jesus Christ to you. Realize that if you walk away in sin then you will suffer the consequences but He will still love you!
