Leviticus 2:10 And that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
Aaron and his sons would eat of the left overs of the meat offering. The offering served two purposes. It honored and worshiped God. It also fed God’s men. The offering was holy. It had a dedicated purpose. It was to be done with exactly as God wanted.
God wanted His men to have their needs met. It would be done through the offerings given by God’s people. God is so very wise in how He handles our worship and His servants.
